Sam grew up around thoroughbreds with his father Stuart, a Stud Master and Trainer.
Sam managed the historic Trelawney Stud while still in his early 20's, spent 4 years in Kentucky and was Leading Vendor at the NZB Ready to Run Sale.
"It's been 12 years since James and I met and we started developing a 150 acre paddock which is now Jamieson Park. James wanted to do it properly and I think the farm is great - its attractive and functional."
"Once the farm was setup, James sent me to Australia to buy some mares... we had some luck from those early purchases and we've continued to upgrade our broodmare band every year".
"This year (2021) we bred a Gr.1 winner in Australia and sold well at all the major yearling sales."
"Exciting times ahead.... breeding takes time and I feel we're just getting started."
